The Brush Impact Digital Painting Mentorship (Photoshop/Procreate)

My name is Angela "Jing" Matinong. My art background stems from SAE Dubai Institute and MTM College of Animation, Art and Design Toronto. Professionally, I have worked with companies like XP-PEN, Ubisoft and the VR Industry. I am a Full-time Freelance Artist, Content-Creator and Art Mentor with a niche in Stylized Character Design.

My Online Digital Painting Mentorship is now available for a limited number of seats. NOTE: This is a 1 Month Mentorship = we will meet 3X per week. 3 Hours per day.

I have always loved sharing what I know and seeing fellow artists reach their full potential. I want these mentorship sessions to be a beacon for you to shed light on topics you've always wanted to decipher. 

Whether you want to learn or level up your digital painting skills for your art career, or ultimately cater your style towards stylized or realistic (photo-bash), I will teach you industry trade secrets I have learned all throughout my career.

 Constructive Art Critique - Each individual is different, so students are advised to show their current work for portfolio feedback to assess which areas need improvement. 

• Art Tool Perks - Instant permanent access to my learning materials (handouts and some of my brushes) to boost mentees' confidence and skill even after the mentorship is done. Unique study outlines + catered lessons will be provided according to your needs. 
• Paint-overs - I will do an art demo on top of your painting while explaining the philosophy behind what makes or breaks the piece. You will see before and after changes of your painting so you can apply what you’ve learned strategically in your next painting.
• Live discussions - Learn from the comfort of your home. You can ask me anything about digital art and we will discuss them in depth. The conversation will be catered to what you want to focus on for e.g. color theory, value, design principles, lighting, cartooning, photo-bashing, etc. 
• Exercises (Homework) - to be provided after the lesson, depending on your which areas need improvement for e.g. anatomy, rendering, etc. We will end the session with an agreed custom set of objectives, which will springboard your art skills to the next level. You can also message me after the session if you have questions. In order to improve your skillset further, you can always book for more sessions. This way I get a better idea how you work creatively and I can provide much better feedback. 
• Portfolio Development - If you're looking to build a portfolio, listed objectives will be provided to prepare for your goal. You can always reach out for feedback to check if you are on the right track.
• Soft Skills and Overall Well-Being - Our time together doesn’t end with hard skills. How do you deal with burnout in order to keep those creative juices flowing? We will also discuss ergonomics, physical exercises, to sustain you in this long creative journey ahead.
